Business talks at the French Embassy as part of the France Initiative for Eastern Germany

“France is worth it: seize opportunities, conquer markets”

Together with the French Embassy in Berlin and Business France, Ad Fontes organized an event for entrepreneurs at the French Embassy in Berlin at the end of February 2025. Facilitating access to each other’s countries and networking has always been a particular concern of the law firm.

More than 20 medium-sized entrepreneurs from Magdeburg and Brandenburg attended the matinee at the ambassador’s residence, including some with existing or planned business in France. However, the majority had come to find out how cross-border cooperation can succeed and what potential there is to be tapped. Success stories from Ad Fontes’ client base were shared and dos and don’ts were exchanged. .

We can only echo the optimism of the French ambassador, H.E. François Delattre, who particularly emphasized the current initiatives of France and Germany in the field of artificial intelligence and with regard to promoting competitiveness by strengthening innovation and reducing bureaucracy.
One of the ambassador’s opening remarks particularly resonated with us, as it aptly describes the dynamic nature of the France Initiative for Eastern Germany: “The industrial heritage of eastern Germany can be a lever for Franco-German cooperation.”
