Corona, or Covid as they say in France, this enormous challenge has forced us to expand our online activities. In doing so, we have come to appreciate the advantages of digital communication more and more, which has enabled us to strengthen our national and international networks and to enhance the German-French exchange.
About 10 years ago, the founder and CEO of AMC Media Network GmbH & Co KG, Michael Mattis, launched the “IT & Media” conference in Darmstadt. This event, which has become the “Digital Future Congress” (DFC) since its move to Messe Frankfurt, is one of Marlies’ annual must-attend events. She has not only participated in the fairs, but has always encouraged entrepreneurs and service providers from her Franco-German network to attend and present themselves.
During her professional career she has understood the complementarity of German and French experts and entrepreneurs in this sector.
The first international edition of the DFC with virtual booths and online presentations was the first participation of Ad Fontes, but not for its founder Mr. André Karg, who had already participated in Frankfurt before. On February 25, Mr. Karg presented “Pitfalls when doing business in France” and explained the administrative steps to take before posting employees to France. Currently we are discussing with Michael Mattis a better highlighting of the German digital sector in France as well as Franco-German initiatives and projects for 2022.
